Final Update: Bath Township Levy, Trustee Election Results
Here's the votes for all the races and issues in Bath Township.
Bath Township Tax Levy*
Issue 4 is a 1.4-mill, five-year renewal levy that funds the maintenance and repair of ’s 63 miles of roads.
This is the levy’s “fourth time around,” township Administrator William Snow said. The measure was first approved in 1996 and has been renewed every five years since.

In 2006, voted to reduce the millage from 1.5 mills to 1.4 mills to save taxpayers money.
The tax generates $745,000 annually for all costs related to road care, Snow said, with snow and ice control among the largest expenses. Revenue “One of the biggest things it supports is snow and ice control. It also pays for paving, maintenance of roads, culverts, ditches, signage, mowing and wages,” he explained.

The levy’s cost for the owner of a home valued at $100,000 is $42.88 annually.
