Bath Township Woman Wins Distinguished Service Award from Hospital
Patricia O'Desky was recognized by Akron Children's Hospital for her leadership, loyalty dedication and service.

Bath Township resident Patrica O'Desky was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for 2011 from Akron Children's Hospital and the Employee Foundation Council.
The award, established in 1979 recognizes employees for their leadership, loyalty, dedication and service.

O'Desky has served as an executive assistant to William Considine, the hospital's president and CEO, since 1979, and she began her hospital career in the emergency and admitting departments.
"Pat always goes above and beyond what is expected and words could never capture her dedication to the hospital’s patients and its mission," said Considine. "Despite her enormous humility, she is undeniably the best ambassador we have and is always willing to go the extra mile to help anyone in need."

Recently O'Desky and her husband Dr. Richard O'Desky hosted a holiday open house that raised thousands of dollars of food and donations for the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank and the Ronald McDonald House of Akron.
