Car Looks Suspicious -- And it Is: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

 

A Vesper Drive resident told police April 19 he felt a car parked on his street was suspicious.

He was right, a report said.

The driver had gotten back into the vehicle and driven it to another spot on the street when police arrived about 6:45 p.m.

But when they asked for his identificaton, they found his driver's license had been suspended. In addition, there was a warrant for his arrest from Akron.

And officers found marijuana in the car.

He was arrested and turned over to Akron police. The car was towed.

Shoplifters Want to Be Healthy, Too

A woman was arrested at Mustard Seed April 20 for allegedly trying to steal a vitamin supplement.

A report said she concealed the vitamins in a reusable grocery bag.
