Copley Man Gets 15-to-Life in Fatal Shooting
Glenn Burbridge, 86, admitted shooting his wife of 67 years.

According to the Summit County Prosecutor's office, of Cleveland-Massillon Road, Copley, pleaded guilty to the Murder of his wife, 83-year-old Alice Burbridge. He was immediately sentenced by Judge Lynne Callahan to 15 years to life in prison.
In March, Burbridge told a 911 operator that he had shot his wife, Alice, and was going to kill himself. Mrs. Burbridge was hospitalized, but died soon after of gunshot injuries the face and head.
Police have said the shooting stemmed from a day-long argument.
