Candidate Statement: I am running for the Revere School Board because I believe in a great education for our communities children. I have 4 children in the school system that are involved in Academic, athletic, and band activities. I have had active roles in the school as a PTA member, committee member, and volunteering for activities. I am very interested in the education of our children and would like to take a more active role. We have a great school system and I would like to be part of the future continued growth and improvement. I am familiar with the many aspects of a business: managing employees and payroll, operations management, and expansion of opportunities. I believe that an effective school board plays an important watchdog role in keeping your local school on track, and setting policies that affect your child and your school. The school board sets the vision and goals for the school district, and holds the district accountable for results. My top three priorities for the district are: 1. Create a Cohesive Board working together for the benefit of the community and school district. 2. Gain a trust level between the community, teaches, and the administration with the School Board. 3. Create a five and ten year strategic plan for the district of how we will grow and improve our educational and extracurricular value while keeping our Excellent with Distinction Grade.
