The Akron Area League of Women Voters is hosting a forum on fracking at 5:30 p.m. on April 19 at the .

Gene Chini of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Natural Gas Resource Management wil talk about the fracking process.

Mike Chadsey, of Energy Depth in Ohio will talk about the fracking boom and the need for energy.

Ted Voneida, retired professor of neuro-anatomy at NEOMED will discuss fracking and its impacts on health.

Finally, Cheryl Johncox or the Buckeye Forest Council, will talk about fracking and our future environmental concerns.

There will be a Q&A session after the program and refreshements will be served.
