Fairlawn Blogger Named 'Local Style Setter'

A Fairlawn fashion blogger has won a nice new title -- Simon Style Setter.

Jaclyn Schler has teamed up with Summit Mall to provide a local opinion on all things related to fashion and beauty.
 
The announcement of the local Style Setter is part of a nationwide rollout by Simon Property Group, with about 40 style bloggers selected from a pool of more than 700 applicants to be local Style Setters. 

Shoppers can expect Style Setter posts to be packed with relevant information about current trends, shopping tips, beauty insider information, style guidance and the word on the up-to-the minute items available at Summit Mall.

Style Setter bloggers will also occasionally participate in fashion related events at the mall including store openings and fashion shows.

Schler, a native of Fairlawn, is a shoe and style maven who blogs about accessible fashion for women in the real world. Her blog focuses on her passion for fashion, style inspirations and love of shoes and accessories.

She regularly shares her picks for the hottest looks of the season, all of which are available at Summit Mall.

Schler is a graduate of the University of Dayton, and received a master of business administration from Ashland University. 

“I could not be more thrilled with the Style Setter recognition,” Schler said. “There is a great appetite in our city for trend-based updates, tips and retailer information, and I look forward to being a reliable resource.” 

The news release says Simon wants to hyper-localize fashion content to make it relevant to shoppers at their local malls.
