Michael T. Alvater is Stark & Knoll Associate

Michael T. Altvater has joined Stark & Knoll as an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Employment Group. 

Altvater is a graduate of the University of Akron School of Law and Wright State University with a Bachelor of Journalism. At the University of Akron, he was President of the Moot Court Honor Society and a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Team. Most recently, he worked as a Judicial Attorney for Judge Elinore Marsh Stormer in the Summit County Court of Common Pleas.

Altvater will work with Stark & Knoll’s insurance defense attorneys to represent insurance companies and their clients in areas including personal injury, business, employment, commercial and products liability defense litigation.

Alvater is a resident of Akron. He has volunteered with the Fugitive Safe Surrender Program and the OpenM Legal Clinic for which he was awarded the United Way of Summit County’s Outstanding Volunteer Award.
