New Editor On Board at Fairlawn-Bath Patch
Meet Megan Rozsa, your guide to the latest news, most-needed information and best community connections in Fairlawn and Bath Township.

Hi, everyone!
My name is Megan Rozsa, and I am excited to be your local editor for Fairlawn-Bath Patch. My goal is to bring you the most news possible, but know that I may need your help along the way. More on that later…
I have worked at Patch for almost a year now as the associate local editor for the east side Patches, which include North Canton, Kent, Twinsburg, Solon, Cleveland Heights, Beachwood, the Hillcrest area and Mentor. I covered each site on an as-needed basis, essentially acting as a full-time freelancer and social media guru.

Before Patch, I was an award-winning education reporter at The Morning Journal in Lorain for two and a half years and also covered the police beat for a year.
I also am the co-author of an award-winning blog called News: From the Field. The blog, a tale of two rookies surviving in the new age of journalism, won first place for best blog from the Associated Press Society of Ohio in 2010.

I grew up in nearby Green and graduated from Kent State University in 2008. I love to dance to music from the ’80s and ’90s and I collect owl figurines. I am a big bookworm and I religiously read Mental Floss magazine, which makes me feel better about being an information nerd.
My favorite thing about journalism is that I get to learn a little about a lot of topics, and I love telling people’s stories.
I’m always looking for story ideas, so if you know someone or something that would make a good story -- or even if you have a question -- don’t hesitate to email or call me. I live in the city, so I'll be readily available.
Also, know that I won't be able to make it to every community event. But I would love to feature your photos of your event on our pages. Don’t be afraid to take photos and send them to me. We love user content, and the more the better!
If you have any questions for me, again, please call or email me, or leave it in the comments section. My email is megan.rozsa@patch.com and my number is 330-212-0251.
I look forward to bringing you the latest and greatest from Fairlawn and Bath Township.
Cheers!
