Officers Have No Trouble Spotting Car that Left Gas Station Too Fast: Bath Blotter
The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

The Ohio State Highway Patrol asked Bath police for help stopping a car that left a gas station in Middleburg Heights a little too quickly April 3.
The clue: The car still had a fuel nozzle and hose attached to the gas tank.

Officers stopped the car on southbound I-77 about 12:15 a.m. and spoke with the driver and passenger, who both confirmed they had purchased gas and some other items at a Speedway on Bagley Road.
They said they must have forgotted to return the nozzle to the pump.

Police called the gas station, where an employee asked that the nozzle be returned.
The men agreed to return it and were released.
