Pets of the Week

The Humane Society of Greater Akron  is offering these animals for adoption.

Stewie

Stewie is a 7-year-old Lab/Rottweiler mix, who weighs around 90 pounds. He is  a gentle giant with a sweet disposition. He loves getting his bum rubbed and is ready to sit and shake at your command. He has potential with other dogs. Stewie's owner died and there was no next of kin to care for this big-hearted fella! We hope that his next family will find him soon!

Preston

Preston is an absolutely beautiful 4-5 year old male who has the sweetest, most easy- going disposition Preston enjoys playing with a variety of toys and other cats. He seems to be okay with dogs. His favorite place is a lap.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs and Puppies: $99
Senior dog over 6 years old: $40
Senior to Senior Program - Senior person over 60 adopts a senior dog: $15
Kittens: $75
Cats - over 6 months: $50
Rabbits: $40

Adopters age 60 or older may adopt a dog, 3 years or older or a cat, 5 years or older without paying the adoption fee. Proof of age is required.

All animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter and have received a microchip locator and received age-appropriate vaccinations and flea treatment.
