Pets of the Week: Buddy and Dove

The Humane Society of Greater Akron  is offering these animals for adoption.

Buddy

Buddy is a 7 ½ year-old Weimaraner that weighs about 80 pounds. Three words describe this guy: handsome, smart and friendly! He has a beautiful coat and personality. He already knows sit, down, stay, shake, high five and speak (check out his video to see his skills in action)! Buddy is also friendly and thinks that everyone he meets will become his new friend! We are recommending him as the only dog in the home. If you think this fetching man can be your new best buddy, stop down and check him out.

Dove

Dove is dainty and lady-like. She loves to sit on your lap and enjoys being petted. But look out when the wand toy comes out -- she's all about the playing too! She makes feline friends easily, does well with children, and dogs don't bother her at all. 

Adoption Fees:

Dogs and Puppies: $99
Senior dog over 6 years old: $40
Senior to Senior Program - Senior person over 60 adopts a senior dog: $15
Kittens: $75
Cats - over 6 months: $50
Rabbits: $40

Adopters age 60 or older may adopt a dog, 3 years or older or a cat, 5 years or older without paying the adoption fee. Proof of age is required.

All animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter, have received a microchip and have had age-appropriate vaccinations and flea treatment.
