Pets of the Week: Fargo and Colt

The Humane Society of Greater Akron  is offering these animals for adoption.

Colt

Colt is around 4 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. He is a very sweet and gentle guy that loves to be by your side for some pets. He seems to do well with other dogs and cats. He has a nice mix of playful and laid-back energy and would make a wonderful addition to almost any home. We are hoping people will bolt down to meet cutie Colt soon!

Fargo

Fargo is around 8 years old and if you are looking for an ultimate lap cat, you just found him! He is a volunteer and staff favorite and no one can explain why he hasn’t been scooped up yet! He likes to be with people and will follow you around if you let him. He loves to be brushed and of course petted; if you stop petting he will remind you to please continue with butting his head against your hand. Fargo is also a HUGE lover of cat nip and if you have some you have just made a new best friend. He would do best in a home without a dog but doesn’t mind sharing a home with another cat. If you are looking for a fantastic cat, you don’t have to go far to met Fargo!

Dogs and Puppies: $99

Senior dog over 6 years old: $40
Senior to Senior Program - Senior person over 60 adopts a senior dog: $15
Kittens: $75
Cats - over 6 months: $50
Rabbits: $40

Adopters age 60 or older may adopt a dog, 3 years or older or a cat, 5 years or older without paying the adoption fee. Proof of age is required.

All animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter, have received a microchip and have had age-appropriate vaccinations and flea treatment.
