Thank you to Beth Hertz for submitting these photos!
Fairlawn Girl Scout flocked to Monday to spotlight project they've accomplished during the Girl Scouts organization's 100th year of service.
During the event, local Girl Scout troops showcased their favorite community project completed over the past year. Some of these included making blankets for the Red Cross at District Camp, collecting pet donations for One of a Kind Pet Rescue, and collecting canned goods for the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank during October’s kickoff, among others.
Troops that participated in service projects this past year will receive a patch commemorating the organization’s 100 years of service.
