Revere Schools Earns Spot on AP Achievement List

The district was recognized by the College Board for opening AP classes to a broader pool of students.

is one of 367 schools in the nation to be recognized by the College Board with a place on its second annual AP (Advanced Placement) Achievement List.

The district received the designation for opening AP classrooms to a significantly broader pool of students while maintaining or improving the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher. Five is the highest score.

"This is a great honor for our AP teachers, Revere High School and the entire Revere community," said Superintendent Randy Boroff. "This recognition illustrates the collaborative efforts of students, teachers, parents and administrators."

The district was awarded several banners that announce the distinction and they will be hung throughout the high school, Boroff said.
