Thief Makes Beeline to Target for Spending Spree: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

Stolen credit cards led to a shopping spree at Target March 28, according to a report.

The owner, a Rambling Way resident, told police March 29 she had no idea her cards were missing until she got a call from her bank advising of some unusual spending patterns.

The woman said she last used her card at Acme at 1:30 p.m. March 28. She went out to dinner that night, but did not take out her wallet or leave her purse unattended, the report said.

But by 9 p.m., there were five transactions on three credit cards. A sixth was rejected.
