Community Expo, Cash Mob, Reggae Fest this Weekend in Kent
Businesses look to score customers and sales on Saturday

There's no shortage of options for entertainment in Kent this weekend.
Kent's Reggae Meltdown returns to downtown tonight with shows at 13 different veneus.

The is hosting its annual at from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The expo brings businesses from around the community together so residents can sample their products in the company of live music and local restaurants.
And the Kent Cash Mob will be swarming two local businesses where vinyl records are still for sale on the shelves.

The Kent Cash Mob is hosting "Kent Cash Mobbers ... Meet Record Store Day" from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday in an effort to drive business to and the Vinyl Underground Record Store. So far, 24 people plan to attend, according to the event's Facebook page.
Eric Miller, one of the organizers of the Kent Cash Mob, said in a post on the group's facebook page that participants should "just head downtown at some point throughout the day and grab some music."
Saturday is "Record Store Day," a day promoted as music fans and store owners to celebrate the culture that surrounds the close to 700 independent record stores open across the U.S.
