Moms Q&A: Teacher Lied About Address for Kids' Sake
Akron mom jailed after lying about where she lived; political groups seeking her pardon

Political activists nationwide are petitioning Gov. John Kasich to pardon Kelley Williams-Bolar of Akron, a 40-year-old single mother of two who works as a teaching assistant while attending college to be a teacher.
Williams-Bolar, who lives in a neighborhood with a high volume of crime, made national news when she was charged with lying about her children's place of residence, saying they lived with their grandfather in a better neighborhood, so that they could attend a suburban school district.
Williams-Bolar was found guilty on two felony counts and sentenced to five years in prison β reduced to 10 days in jail and 80 hours of community service. She is now a convicted felon and may not be hired to teach because of her record.
Here are some from the Fairlawn-Bath Patch.
