Snapshot: Acorn Alley Inches Toward New Development

The temporary sidewalks along abutting Erie Street are finally getting their permanent replacements.

Crews started pouring concrete for the sidewalks and actual alley last week. Beforehand, temporary asphalt pavement had served as the sidewalk along the storefronts.

When is finished off-colored pavers will extend Acorn Alley across the street to connect with the city and Fairmount Properties redevelopment block.
