Snapshot: Color Returns to Adop-A-Spots Downtown
4,000 flowers planted in two beds alone on East Main Street
It's planting season for the Adopt-A-Spot flower beds sprinkled throughout downtown Kent.
Landscapers planted 4,000 flowers Friday in two beds on East Main Street — one in front of and one in front of — cared for by The Burbick Foundation.
The Adopt-A-Spot program is managed by and brings together residents and businesses to keep more than 20 beds throughout the city weed-free and full of flowers. Contact Main Street Kent to volunteer for the program.
