Tailgating for Kent State Home Opener Under Way

Many of the new businesses moving into downtown Kent this fall are joining AMETEK and Kent State University in a pre-game tailgating party outside Dix Stadium this afternoon.

Kent State takes on Towson University at 7 p.m. tonight to mark the football home opener.

On the field, a pregame ceremony will have officials from developer Fairmount Properties hand over the keys to AMETEK's new building downtown. Fireworks will follow the 7 p.m. football game.
