Here are the top three stories in Lakewood today:
- We have an update on yesterday's story about the indictment of four murder suspects: A $1M bond has been set for all four suspects in the murder of a Lakewood man, 47-year-old Victor Huff. On Tuesday, all four people accused pleaded not guilty at their arraignment in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas. The $1M bond has been set for Terrence Burnett, 65, Harry Houston, 63 and Tessa Raczynski, 26, and Lavell Taylor, 28. (Cleveland 19 News)
- McKinley Place neighbors collected lots of school supplies for Lakewood Community Services (LCS). The residents have hosted the collection for six years — in previous years, LCS requested toiletries, coffee, and children’s cereal, but in the last two years they have asked for school supply donations. According to resident Madeline Hayes, the final tally included 217 glue sticks, 151 folders, 145 notebooks, 64 Post-It notes, and much more. (cleveland.com)
- On Monday night, a Lakewood native returned to the wrestling ring. Former NXT Johnny Gargano returned to WWE on Raw on Aug. 22. "I stand here incredibly proud to say Johnny Wrestling is back in WWE," Gargano told the crowd. (cleveland.com)
