Blotter: Maintenance Man Caught Stealing; Thefts; Coyote on the Loose

Maintenance man caught stealing
The maintenance man of a building in the 12000 block of Edgewater Drive was arrested and charged with burglary Nov. 25 after a resident caught him on video stealing $3 from the nightstand.

A resident in the 2000 block of Magee Street told police about a coyote in the neighborhood at around 1:40 p.m. Nov. 24. The animal warden was notified.
Girls fighting on Thanksgiving

Four girls were all charged with disorderly conduct after they were fighting near at around 2:20 p.m. Nov. 24.
Sisters fighting
A woman in the 1300 block of Cove Avenue told police that her sister, who lives upstairs, came into her apartment and began “throwing things around” and hitting her at around 8 p.m. Nov. 22. The sister was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, assault and domestic violence.
Crash, drunken driving arrest
A woman was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence following a two-car crash in the 1300 block of Summit Avenue at around 11:30 p.m. Nov. 22. No injuries were reported in the crash.
Theft
A woman in the 1400 block of Elbur Avenue told police that her grandson stole $2,500 from her home at around 12:45 p.m. Nov. 27.
Snow blower stolen
A resident in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue told police that a snow blower was stolen from the garage at around 1:30 p.m. Nov. 27.
