Occupation:  Program Administrator, Cuyahoga County Health & Human Services

Education:  Bachelors of Arts & Sciences, Cleveland State University 

Political affiliation: Democrat, although Lakewood races are nonpartisan

Office Sought: Ward 4

Previous political office: Council Ward 4 

Candidate Statement:  Ward 4 is the most socially, economically and racially diverse ward in Lakewood. We stretch from Bird Town to the Gold Coast, the oldest neighborhood to the most densely populated. 

Lakewood’s east end is home to manufacturing and design, historic homes and modern high-rises. Our distinct demographics are challenging but I believe they are also the essence of this community. 

We have been hit harder by the economy than other parts of the city so the need for strategic housing and development planning is critical to entice new buyers.  We continue to plan for the future on the east end knowing that our assets – affordable lakefront living, architectural gems, easy access to two downtowns – are smart investments for any age.

I represent my neighbors with respect, and will continue to do so for the next four years.
