Dog Wash Fundraiser Set for Saturday
Citizens Committee for the Lakewood Animal Shelter is hosting event at Nature's Bin.

Got a dirty dog?
That’s just perfect, because the is hosting its Dog Days of Summer Dog Wash at from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. this Saturday.
If it rains, the event will be rescheduled for the next day, same place, same time.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the programs and expenses for the Lakewood Animal Shelter.
"Every year we look forward to the CCLAS Dog Wash at the Nature's Bin,” said CCLAS president Dawn Pyne. “It's a great opportunity to raise money for the homeless animals at the Lakewood Animal Shelter and meet with our volunteers and supporters.

“This year we lowered our prices, but we hope the turn out will be higher, so we can beat last year's total."
The prices this year are: $10 for petite to small dogs and $15 for medium to large dogs.
Dog nail trimming services — by Debbie Hokin of Home Alone Pet Sitting — will also be available for an additional donation.
Shampoo used during the event is donated by PetGuard and towels donated by Cintas.
Those getting their dogs washed are encouraged to take a rest Nature Bin’s Hound Dog Cafe.
