Flash Mob at Lakewood High School Promotes Healthy Living

Thursday could have been any day at .

Except it wasn’t.

Students enjoying their lunches were surprised by a flash mob made up of the high school’s cheerleaders who descended onto the cafeteria to promote health and wellness as part of the Grow Well Lakewood event.

There was also an event in the gymnasium — which was less of a surprise to students. 

Tables were set up around the gym all day Thursday.

Some promoted healthy activities. Others warned against the dangers of tobacco as well as drinking and driving.
