Lakewood Coffee With A Cop Scheduled For July 26

Get to know your local police officers over a cup of coffee.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The Lakewood police department will again host Coffee with a Cop on July 26.

This month's session will be held at Gray Dog Diner, 13411 Detroit Ave., from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Members of Lakewood police will be at the coffee shop to chat with residents. There are no speeches or agendas. Residents can ask anything they want of police or simply spend time with the officers.

"Coffee with a Cop," is a national movement and police departments across the nation participate. In previous summers, Lakewood police have switched to "Cone with a Cop," giving residents a chance to eat ice cream during the hot summer days.
