The after-prom — from 11:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. — needs parents of seniors to volunteer.

  • The prom committee is looking for sliced fruit (pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe, grapes, bananas, strawberries) separated in one gallon bags; cut up veggies (celery, carrots, peppers, cucumbers, broccoli) separated in one gallon bags; pasta salad (any kind of pasta with Italian dressing and cut up veggies) in one gallon bags; and brownies and cookies. These items can be dropped off at the high school in the East cafeteria after 7 p.m. on May 12.
  • Organizers could also use a hand decorating and setting up. The group will begin transforming the east end of the high school at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 11 and continue most of the day on Saturday.
  • Volunteers are also needed on the night of the event. We need folks to help serve food, to help with security, to help with the entertainment and to help clean up.
