Lakewood police had to chase a man who threatened his girlfriend and showed up at her apartment with a gun.

A 26-year-old Cleveland man became upset with his ex-girlfriend and threatened her, later showing up at her house with a gun reports Cleveland.com.
According to police reports, the ex-girlfriend's mother called police after the man told her "I bet I'll get a response if you hear gunshots."
Lakewood police found the man in the driveway of the girl's home at the 1200 block of Hird Avenue. Police ordered the man to get out of his car when he ran west on Hird.

Police later found the man after a suspicious person was reported in the lobby of an apartment building at 11800 block of Clifton Boulevard.
Cocaine and a .40 caliber handgun were found in the man's car according to a report.
