Man Arrested in Lakewood Following Shooting in Cleveland

Arrested with an 18-gauge shotgun
Lakewood officers assisted the Cleveland Police Department arresting a man suspected in a shooting in Cleveland on March 8. The man, who was in possession of an 18-gauge shotgun when officer apprehended him in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue, was charged with felonious assault.
Carrying a concealed weapon

Following a traffic stop in the 11700 block of Madison Avenue, a man was charged with carrying a concealed weapon at around 5 a.m. March 6. His vehicle was towed.
Copper pipes stolen

A vacant home in the 2000 block of Waterbury Avenue was broken into on March 6. Copper piping was reported stripped from the home.Â
Grand theft
A vehicle parked on the street in the 11800 block of Lake Avenue was reported stolen at 1:30 a.m. March 7.
Ghostly theft?
A man in the 14300 block of Detroit Avenue told police that he was robbed at around 6:30 a.m. March 7. When officers asked the man who might have stolen from him, the man said he believes ghosts took his money.
Stolen credit card info
A woman in the 2200 block of Riverside Drive told police that someone fraudulently used her credit card at 5 p.m. March 8. Police are investigating.
Hit-skip
A vehicle was struck in the 1500 block of Elbur Avenue at around 5 p.m. March 8, and the driver fled the scene. Minutes later, police caught up with the motorist, who was charged with hit-skip.
Felonious theft
A woman told police that a man was running through her yard in the 2200 block of Brown Avenue at around 10 p.m. March 8. Just around the corner on Richland Avenue, the window of a vehicle was reported smashed out. After a foot chase, officer caught the suspect and charged him with felony theft.
