Man Runs From Police For Drunken Driving Warrant

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Running from police nets arrest

A man bailed out of his car during a traffic stop in the 14000 block of Detroit Avenue at around 9 p.m. Feb. 10. Police chased him north on Ramona Avenue and caught up with him near Clifton Boulevard. Turns out, he was trying to escape a warrant for drunken driving. He now also faces a charge of obstruction of official business.

A man was charged with felony drug possession following a traffic stop on W. 117th Street at around 9:50 a.m.

Passed out in a Burger King dining room

A man was charged with disorderly conduct after he passed out in the booth of the Burger King on Detroit Avenue at around 5 p.m. Feb. 10.

Grand theft

A car was reported stolen from the 2000 block of Marlowe Avenue on Feb. 12.

Shoplifting

A man was arrested and charged for shoplifting from the Walgreens on Detroit Avenue at around 11:30 a.m. Feb. 13.
