Man Trying to Buy Drugs Robbed at Gunpoint

Robbery

A man told that he was robbed at gunpoint while trying to buy drugs at the intersection of Chesterland Avenue and Lakewood Heights Boulevard at around 9 p.m. May 26. Officers were unable to catch up with the suspect.

Police responded to report of loud argument in the 1300 block of Giel Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. May 24. Turns out, the man was arguing with himself. Officers told the man to “keep it down.”

Box of marijuana

Police recovered a box containing an undisclosed amount of marijuana in the bushes near a home in the 1500 block of Lewis Drive at around 9:15 a.m. May 24.

Criminal damaging

A man told police that a woman threw something at his windshield and cracked it at around 11:45 a.m. May 24. That was after she followed him from Avon Lake to Lakewood.

Pants down in public

Police received a call about an “intoxicated” man pulling his pants down in the 13300 block of Madison Avenue at around 11 p.m. May 24. The man got into a cab and left the area.
