A missing Cleveland teen has been found safe in Lakewood after disappearing on Aug. 27. 16-year-old Vanessa Bezares had last been seen in a stolen gray 2019 Hyundai driven from the Lakewood area. No further updates have been provided, but police indicated that Bezares may have been in the company of a woman named Maria, as well as two men named Chris and Tay. Police are looking into the situation. (Cleveland 19 News)
  2. On Sep. 28, Keep Lakewood Beautiful is hosting a ‘pop-up’ cleanup event. Volunteers will meet up at Lakewood Hardware to get their equipment before heading off to pick up litter. Afterward, volunteers can relax and mingle at Mars Bar with a cool drink and the knowledge of a job well done. (Lakewood Patch)
