Mom Talk: Padded Bikini Tops for Pre-Teens
Mom's Talk is a weekly feature that encourages dialogue among moms, dads, grandparents and caregivers. Each week, we'll pick one hot topic in parenting for everyone to weigh in on.

Then, after much protest, the company backpedaled, changing the description to only "padded," and now, pulling it from the shelves altogether.
“We’ve re-categorized the Ashley swimsuit as padded. We agree with those who say it is best 'suited' for girls age 12 and older,” the company said on its Facebook page Monday.

A product like this wasn't offered when I was 8, but I don't think my folks would have allowed my sisters to buy a padded bikini top from Abercrombie Kids.
As of last Tuesday, the "Ashley" swimsuit disappeared from the website.
Although this product has been pulled from the shelves because of the general outrage of many across the country, what do you think about the product?
