Moms Talk: Caffeine for Kids?

Do you allow your children to drink sodas and other caffeinated beverages?

Caffeine seems to be everywhere — in desserts, water, coffee and sodas. Many of the products are appealing to children as well like caffeinated potato chips, mints, cereal and even sunflower seeds.

In the Journal of Pediatrics, a study showed 5- to 7- year-olds are consuming the same amount of caffeine as adults in some cases.
