Monster Walk Raises Dead and Food Over the Weekend [PHOTOS]
Monsters gathered at the 5 O'Clock Lounge in Lakewood for a good cause.
The event was coordinated by Fred Cleveland, the only requirement to participate was a five dollar fee and two cans of food. One of the event coordinators told Patch that they had collected nearly 200 donations, all of which would be donated to The Cleveland Food Bank.
"Feeling pretty fly for a Monster Walk guy," said Phil Soencksen, winner of the Best Monster Award. "I was just buzzing around Lakewood and thought I'd fly into the Monster Walk, I love Lakewood - I'm a barfly, after all."
Phil was dressed as a fly, see the first photo above.
After being hosted in other locations including Mahall's and the former Spitfire Saloon, it looks like future Monster Walks will be held at the 5 O'Clock Lounge.
