Nurse Charged With Stealing Patient’s Drugs

Theft
Police received a report that a nurse at a Detroit Avenue facility tested positive for a particular medicine in a drug test — while her patient tested negative. The nurse was charged with theft on June 19.

Police received a call about a man masturbating on the side of Franklin Boulevard at around 7:30 a.m. June 18. When officers showed up, they charged him with disorderly conduct.
Breaking and entering

An employee at a business in the 15000 block of Madison Avenue reported June 18 that someone broke into the store sometime over the weekend. Money was reported stolen from the safe.
Disturbance
A man was “causing a disturbance,” after refusing to leave a business at at around 3:45 p.m. June 18. He was charged with trespassing and obstructing official business.
Motorcycle on the sidewalk
Police received a call about a boy — around 10 years old — riding a motorcycle on the sidewalk near the intersection of Ethel and Detroit avenues at around 7:30 p.m. June 18.
