Police Blotter: Burglary; Drunken Driving; and Breaking and Entering

Brick through a window, drug charge

Police received a report that two men threw a brick through the window of a car in Cleveland at around 1:30 a.m. Sept. 12. When the men crossed the border, Lakewood officers caught up with them. They were both charged with disorderly conduct and one of them was also charged with drug abuse.

Burglary

A man broke into an apartment at Madison Gardens at around 1:15 a.m. Sept. 15, kicked the apartment’s occupant in the ribs and broke her TV before running toward the rapid station on W. 117th Street. When officers caught up with him, they arrested and charged him with burglary.

arrested and charged a Lakewood man with drunken driving, obstructing official business, driving under suspension and a seat belt violation at around 3 a.m. Sept. 15. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but instead the driver led police on a chase down Clifton Boulevard. When they caught up with the man, he was taken into custody.

Breaking and entering

A resident in 1400 block of Cohassett Avenue told police that the home had been broken into on Sept. 15. A camera and other items were reported missing.
