Police Blotter: Burglary; Thief Caught in the Act; and a Wounded Skunk
The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary
A resident in the 1300 block of Cove Avenue told that she saw two men walking along the railroad tracks, and one of them was carrying a TV at around 6:20 p.m. Oct. 13. When officers responded the males took off on foot. When officers caught up with them, they learned about a burglary in the 1300 block of Beach Parkway. Detectives also found a bag of stolen stereo equipment at . One of them, a juvenile, was charged with burglary and obstructing officials business; the other man was charged with burglary.

A man in the 1600 block of Lakeland Avenue caught a man breaking into his can at around 5:30 a.m. Oct. 13. The man kept the suspect in the front seat of the vehicle until officers arrived moments later. The suspect was charged with petty theft.
Drug abuse

A man was arrested and charged with felony drug abuse following a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Beach Avenue at around 1:30 a.m. Oct. 10.
Wounded skunk
A wounded skunk was reported in the 2000 block of Waterbury Avenue at around 11:30 p.m. Oct. 11. The skunk appeared to be injured on its right rear leg and tail. The animal warden was notified.
Dangerous drugs
At around 10 p.m. Oct. 15, police stopped a vehicle at Madison and Warren avenues that was suspected of being involved in a burglary in Rocky River earlier in the day. The two men were taken into custody, charged with dangerous drugs.
