Police Blotter: Burglary; Thirsty Thief; and an Unidentified Floating Object

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary

A home in the 1400 block of Lakewood Avenue was reported burglarized on Sept. 27. Several items were reported missing from the home.

A thirsty thief

Police received from a motorist at First Federal of Lakewood who reported a thief went through the vehicle at around 6:30 p.m. Sept. 29 and stole some change. However, the thief left a glass of water behind.

Unidentified floating object

Police officers at reported a “suspicious” item floating in Lake Erie to the US Coast Guard at around 7 p.m. Sept. 29. Officers reported that it appeared to be a large balloon or ball of some type.

Three charged after bar fight

Three men were charged with disorderly conduct following a large bar fight at  just after midnight on Sept. 28.

Don't take your guns to town

A man was charged with the unlawful transportation of a firearm and driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the 12600 block of Clifton Boulevard at 8 p.m. Sept. 28.

Bad tenant

The manager of a property in the 13000 block of Madison Avenue told police Sept. 29 that he believes a tenant is selling drugs. The manager told police he was going to begin the eviction process.
