Police Investigating Rash of Spray-Painting Incidents in the East End

Last week, a number of businesses and vehicles had been vandalized.Â

The pattern continued this week.
A truck in the parking lot of was reported vandalized with spray-paint at around 8:30 a.m. Nov. 18.

, on Lakewood Avenue, was vandalized for the second time in a week on Nov. 18.
The next day, on Nov. 19, graffiti was reported on the garage of a home in the 2000 block of Clarence Avenue, and at another home one block away.
There was also another report of vandalism at on Nov. 21 — the second time that school was vandalized in one week.
Police are investigating all of the incidents.
Police chief Timothy Malley said that the vandalism incidents appear to be taking place on the east side of town.
"They appear to be the work of all one person or group," he said, adding that poor lighting has prevented the police department from catching the culprits on video surveillance.Â
