Here are the top three stories in Lakewood today:

  1. Cuyahoga County has produced a potential map expanding its network of public bicycles and scooters. The map expands the network to more inner-ring suburbs of Cleveland, including Lakewood. The county wants to hear from residents through Sep. 30 about where the network will be most beneficial. Click the link to learn how to submit feedback. (Cleveland News)
  2. LakewoodAlive has announced a Front Porch Concert Pop-Up on Thursday, Sep. 8. The concert will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Madison Park in Lakewood. Residents are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair to watch the free, live performance by Madison Cummins, followed by Lea Marra & The Dream Catchers. (Lakewood Observer)
  3. Cleveland was listed as number four on the list of "10 U.S. Cities With The Cheapest Mansions For Sale In 2022." David Sharkey, the president of Progressive Urban Real Estate, said, "Lakewood, Lindale, [and] Cleveland Heights," are the places to look for discounted mansions. For example, a 5,200-square-foot, century-old home in Lakewood is currently for sale for just under $600,000. (Realtor News)
