Reports of Graffiti in the East End

The following arrest information was supplied by the Lakewood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Graffiti complaints

There were several calls of graffiti reported in the morning of March 25. The first was on a gas pump and bay door at a gas station in the 12500 block of Detroit Avenue; another incident was reported at the East End Market; a home in the 2000 block of Quail Avenue reported being spray-painted; and a vehicle was spray-painted in the 1300 block of Cove Avenue.

Police received a call about two men wearing only boxer shorts throwing tree branches at people in the 17000 block of Detroit Avenue at around 1:45 a.m. March 23. Officers were unable to locate the men.

Grand theft

A vehicle was reported stolen from the parking lot of business in the 17000 block of Detroit Avenue at around 8 a.m. March 23.

Attempted burglary

A man was arrested and charged with attempted burglary and disorderly conduct in the 2000 block of Magee Street at around 11:30 p.m. March 23.

Delivery driver not drunk, learning to drive stick shift

Police received a call from a motorist who noted that another motorist may be driving drunk in the 15000 block of Hilliard Road at around 1 a.m. March 25. Turns out, the man — who was delivery pizza — was learning how to drive stick shift.
