  1. A shoplifting suspect was caught by Lakewood police at a bus stop. According to the Lakewood Police Blotter, a call came in from Giant Eagle on Jul. 22 about a man who took several items from a store by attempting to conceal them under a coat. The caller also informed police that the man was waiting at a bus stop, where he was caught and later charged with petty theft and drug paraphernalia. (cleveland.com)
  2. Calling all chicken wing lovers: Cleveland Wing Week will be returning this September! From Sep. 26 to Oct. 2, local restaurants will be offering six wings for $7 in a variety of styles and flavors.   3. A Lakewood High School and West Shore Career-Tech culinary student finished third in a national competition. 17-year-old Reagan Fishbaugh tested her culinary skills during a trip to the West Coast earlier this month, where she finished third in the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America national competition. Fishbaugh received a plaque and various scholarship opportunities, including a $20,000 offer from Sullivan University, for finishing third. Congratulations! (cleveland.com)
