Event — to raise money for the Soter Foundation and Malachi House — will feature pig roast, sumo wrestling and live music.

What do you get when you combine a pig roast, sumo wrestling and a good cause?

If you guessed Swinesmash, then you’re either in-the-know or you’re a mind reader.

The “Rally in the Alley” event — slated to take place all day on the patio behind and on Detroit Avenue — combines all kinds of activities, including a long line-up of live music.

The event, which will run from 1 to 8 p.m., is free to attend and open to the public.

But, come hungry — and thirsty — that’s where the proceeds to benefit charity come on.

Live music includes Carlos Jones; Tricky Dick and the Cover Ups; Burning River Ramblers; Festivals; Squish; and Hawkeye.

There will also be special guest appearances, a dunk tank and giveaways.

“It’s an opportunity to bring people together and have fun, while raising money for a good cause,” said Ryan Krivosh, general manager of Around the Corner and co-organizer of the event.
