  1. The Cleveland Metropolitan School District says it’s close to being fully staffed for the 2022-23 school year, with 95 percent of teaching openings filled. In Lakewood City Schools, “a few openings” remain, and the district is focusing its hiring efforts this year on (STEM) educators, language arts, special education, and elementary instructors.   2. A fourth suspect has pleaded "not guilty" in the murder of a 47-year-old Lakewood man. The victim, Victor Huff, was reported missing to Lakewood police on Aug. 3, his body was found on Aug. 4, and he was identified on Aug. 5. Two other men and one woman were previously charged in connection with Hoff's murder. (Oxygen & Cleveland 19 News)
  3. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker made a stop at Cleveland Vegan in Lakewood ahead of Barker's performance at the Machine Gun Kelly concert. The famous couple visited the cafe on Saturday morning before Barker performed with Machine Gun Kelly, Trippie Redd, Avril Lavigne, and Willow. The concert began at 5 p.m., and doors opened to the stadium at 3 p.m. (WKYC.com)
