Three Cleveland Men Charged With Early Morning Burglary
Accused of tying up a Lakewood woman at gunpoint while they stole her possessions.
Three Cleveland men are in jail after an early morning burglary, in which a Lakewood woman was tied up at gunpoint while her possessions were stolen.
Darrick Jones, 19; Robert Harder Jr., 19; and Erick Stewart II, 21, were all charged with burglary today.
Lakewood Police Chief Timothy Malley said that officers responded to a burglary call in the 1200 block of Elbur Avenue at 12:23 a.m.

"(The) investigation revealed three suspects entered the home through an unlocked window and confronted with a gun, a homeowner sleeping on the couch," Malley said in a statement.
"The homeowner was tied up on the couch and the suspects proceeded to steal items from the home. The homeowner was able to free herself and fled to a neighbors home where she called the ."

When the officers arrived, the men had already fled.
However, police caught up with all three of them in the neighborhood a short time later. The weapon used and the stolen property were recovered.Â
Additional property recovered led the officers to an unreported burglary they are believed to have committed in the 12000 block of Lake Avenue earlier in the evening.
Detectives are continuing the investigation into these and other possible crimes committed by these suspects, Malley said. Â
