As part of our Visions for Vacancies series, we ask Lakewood readers to share their ideas for some of the city’s empty spaces.

After , a Lakewood Patch reader suggested that we look into the space at 1413 Lauderdale Avenue.

The building, directly to the south of the , was most recently the home to North Coast Extreme. 

Dru Siley, the city’s director of planning and development, said even though the North Coast Extreme building isn’t on Detroit Avenue, it’s still a “perfect” location — particularly for businesses that don’t require curb appeal.
