What Should Go Here?

The at 15311 Detroit Avenue has moved a block west.

And now the space is vacant.

We thought we’d take the opportunity to find out what Lakewood residents would like to see open at the abandoned location. 

The owners of the property couldn’t be reached for comment, but employees at neighboring businesses said they’ve been told a dollar store is interested in purchasing the property.

Dru Siley, the city’s director of planning and development, said he’s heard the rumor, too. However, he added that nothing’s been confirmed.

So, we ask again: What would you like to see at that location?
