What Should Go Here?

With a plan in the works for a at the southwest intersection of Detroit Avenue and Bunts Road, we thought we’d take a look across the street to the abandoned .

Following changes in the auto industry, the dealership closed in 2010. 

Last year, the for development at the site. Only one — for a — came back.

Nearly one year, later the property still sits empty.

What would you like to see developed at the site? 

The vacant Spitzer dealership in the 13900 block of Detroit Avenue sits on nearly two acres of land.

Dru Siley, the director of planning and development, told Lakewood Patch last year that in a city like Lakewood — which has nearly reached its development potential — having that much land to develop, is a valuable resource.

And with an estimated 8,000 automobiles that pass that area each day, so is the location.
